The problem we saw
Thousands of excavators sit idle on weekends, between projects, or during slow seasons. At the same time, contractors spend hours every week calling brokers, middlemen, and contacts trying to source a machine for their next job.
The rental market was entirely offline — built on personal relationships and luck. If you didn't know someone, you were stuck. If you were an owner, you had no easy way to advertise availability beyond word of mouth.
What we built
Excaren is a GPS-based excavator rental marketplace — a map where every available machine is a pin, every owner is reachable, and every rental is tracked end-to-end from request to completion.
We deliberately removed the role separation most platforms impose. On Excaren, any user can both list a machine they own and rent one they need. A contractor who owns two excavators shouldn't need two accounts.
We built it mobile-first because that's where this industry lives — on-site, in the field, on a phone.

We're early. Excaren launched with a focus on quality over quantity — a clean, fast app with no bloat, no commission fees, and no friction.
